ABOUT THE ROLE

Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, creating a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Other responsibilities include:

  1. Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes impacting care and updating care plans accordingly.
  2. Participating in the person-centred care planning process, including implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
  3. Supporting residents with their medication needs.
  4. Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
  5. Acting as a key contact with residents, their relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated when necessary.
ABOUT YOU

To succeed in this role, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability in all you do.

Our ideal candidate will:

  1. Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  2. Have at least 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
  3. Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  4. Possess a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  5. Be responsive and flexible to various responsibilities.
