About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. You will plan and implement care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence.You will get to know residents and their families to deliver personalized care plans.Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness is your guiding principle.Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you'll facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and ensure comprehensive care.
A key responsibility is maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to work towards Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care knowledge. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, good record-keeping skills, and effective time management are essential. You will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
