About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person working here understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and by joining us, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to them.
Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Tasks may include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, or communicating with families, all with kindness.
You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social activities and administering medication. Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key aspects of your role.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to pursue Level 3 or equivalent. Experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care is desirable. Most importantly, you should have positive energy, good communication skills, and the ability to manage your time effectively, always demonstrating kindness and consideration.
