About The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Tasks may include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, and communicating with families, always with kindness.
You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager by providing social and recreational activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records. Your background ideally includes a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, experience in person-centered care planning, and knowledge of dementia care. Your positive energy, communication skills, and ability to manage time effectively are essential.
