Job summary

Agincare Group in Taunton is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to provide high-quality personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes. You’ll help people live independently with dignity, support daily routines, and build meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

We offer funded professional training up to QCF level 5, flexible contracts, mileage paid (32p per mile), a £500 welcome bonus with a referral scheme up to £1000, a company pension, and on-demand pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' care experience and a compassionate attitude.
• NVQ level 2 is preferable.
• Full UK driving licence required.

About the role:

• Provide high-quality personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes.
• Support and mentor new members of the care team.
• Carry out occasional spot checks to help maintain care standards.
• Build positive relationships with clients and their families.
• Ideal for experienced Care Assistants looking to progress their career.

What you will bring:

• Good people skills and the ability to show strong empathy , with a caring and compassionate nature
• A minimum of 12 months' care experience, compassion , and a positive attitude - NVQ level 2 is preferable
• Full UK driving licence
• Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7am - 10pm and alternating weekends
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work - we currently cannot offer sponsorship
