Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking a Home Carer in Taunton to support clients in their own homes. You will assist with daily routines, mobility, meals, and personal care while providing companionship and a comforting presence.

No prior care experience is required; a caring attitude and strong people skills can lead to a rewarding career in care. A full UK driving licence and ongoing development opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required, we value the right attitude and a caring nature.
• Ability to build meaningful relationships and work with empathy.
• Driving licence and right to work in the UK (12 months minimum remaining).

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines and personal care in clients' homes.
• Help with shopping, meal preparation, and making tea.
• Provide companionship and a friendly, supportive presence.
• Assist with medication as directed by care plans.

The Role of a Home Carer:

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About you:

Above all, we're looking for someone kind, compassionate , and genuinely passionate about helping others . You don't need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll bring:

• A warm , caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive , professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence
