Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Care Assistant to join our care home team in Cheltenham. No prior care experience is required as fully funded training is provided. A compassionate, patient approach and the right to work in the UK are essential.

You will contribute to daily living activities, build relationships with residents, and help enrich their lives through activities and social engagement, while upholding dignity and independence.

Qualifications

  • No care experience required; full training provided.
  • Compassionate, patient and great with people.
  • Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK (we cannot currently offer sponsorship).

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
  • Assist with medication administration and recording.
  • Support residents with daily living activities and routines.
  • Build meaningful relationships and provide companionship.
  • Help enrich residents' lives through activities, hobbies, and social engagement.
  • Promote residents' dignity, independence, and well-being.
  • Work as part of a caring team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
