Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Paignton to provide high-quality home-based care, supporting clients to live independently with dignity. You will help with personal care, daily routines, and offer companionship, aiming to brighten each day for clients and families.

The role offers flexible contracts, potential career progression with funded training up to QCF level 5, and a competitive hourly rate. Applicants should have care experience and a driving licence where possible.

Qualifications

• Good people skills with empathy and a caring, compassionate nature.
• At least 12 months of care experience; NVQ Level 2 preferable.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred) and good availability.
• Eligible to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on right to work.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes.
• Support and mentor new members of the care team.
• Carry out occasional spot checks to maintain care standards.
• Build positive relationships with clients and their families.

About the role:

• Provide high-quality personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes.
• Support and mentor new members of the care team.

• Ideal for experienced Care Assistants looking to progress their career.

What you will bring:

• Good people skills and the ability to show strong empathy , with a caring and compassionate nature
• A minimum of 12 months' care experience, compassion , and a positive attitude - NVQ level 2 is preferable
• Full UK driving licence (Preferred)
• Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7am – 10pm and alternating weekends
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work – we currently cannot offer sponsorship
