Care Concern Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Pytchley Court Nursing Home in Kettering to lead a care team and ensure high-quality, person-centred care for residents.

The role involves overseeing shifts, handling medication management, recording care plans and liaising with families and healthcare professionals. NVQ2+ and leadership skills are essential, with Level 3 desired or progression towards it.

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Medication administration training with competency is essential
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial

Senior Care Assistant Contract

• £13.85 to £14.45 per hour
• Bank but will be covering 44 hours for at least 9 months
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.

You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.

You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

We Are Looking For
