Job summary

Avon Court Care Home in Chippenham is seeking a caring Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition. You will follow care plans, monitor wellbeing and help maintain a safe, respectful environment.

This role welcomes both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training and ongoing development. There is a 33-hour per week contract, paid DBS and uniform, and opportunities to progress within Care Concern Group.

About Avon Court Care Home

Avon Court Care Home is a 56 bed care home located in Chippenham, Wiltshire. Providing nursing and residential care, the home offers a warm and welcoming environment where colleagues work together to deliver high quality, person centred care and make a real difference to the lives of Residents every day.

Care Assistant Contract
  • £13.45 to £13.95 per hour
  • Contracted to 33 hours per week
  • Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
