Care Concern Group at Worsley Lodge in Worsley, Manchester, seeks a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team and deliver compassionate, person-centred care to residents.

You will manage shifts, support medication processes, and work with families and health professionals to maintain safety and wellbeing. We offer flexible hours (22, 33 or 44 per week), paid DBS, pension, uniform, and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifikationen

• SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), with Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Medication administration training with competency is essential.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach.

Senior Care Assistant Contract

• £14.35-£14.95per hour
• Contracted to 22, 33 or 44 hours per week
• Days & Nights available
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.

You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.

You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
