Job summary

Worsley Lodge Care Home in Worsley, Manchester, is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to guide and support a caring team of colleagues in delivering high quality, person-centred care to residents. You will oversee shifts, manage medication administration, monitor wellbeing and maintain accurate care records, while engaging with families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Medication administration training with competency is essential
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach

Responsibilities

• Guide and support the team in delivering high quality, person-centred care
• Take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised and of high standard
• Oversee medication administration and monitor residents' wellbeing
