Job summary

Care Outlook is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant to maintain and develop our home care services in the Battersea area. You will contribute to quality control, support Care & Support Workers, and uphold high standards of care while participating in the on-call rota.

We offer a salary of £26,000–£28,000 per annum, a £350 refer a friend bonus, a company mobile phone, and ongoing training for Care Certificate and professional development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent preferred.
• Full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience as Field Care Supervisor or 2 years in Health & Social Care preferred.
• Knowledge of CQC standards and compliance (essential).

Responsibilities

• Spot checking carers in the community and identifying good practice.
• Deliver high standards of care.
• Participate in the paid on-call rota.
• Complete care assessments and write Care Plans.
• Build strong relationships with care staff and service users.
• Assist the registered manager in inspections by local authority and CQC.
• Support the care coordinator with duties as required.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant to maintain and develop our home care services in the Battersea area.

Responsible for implementing field based quality control systems and providing support to all Care & Support Workers within a defined area.

Core Duties & Responsibilities as Field Care Supervisor:

• Spot checking carers in the community, identifying good practice, identifying and reporting training concerns back to the registered manager
• Ability to deliver high standards of care
• Participate in the paid on-call rota
• Completing care assessments and writing up Care Plans
• Building relationships with care staff and service users
• Assisting the registered manager in preparing for inspections by the local authority and CQC
• Assisting the care coordinator with any duties that may be required

Examples of the client’s needs you will be supporting with as a Field Care Supervisor:

• Assisting clients with personal care (Washing, toileting, dressing etc.)
• Performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Observing, monitoring and record keeping.
