Job summary

Care Outlook Ltd. is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to oversee our Battersea area and support Care & Support Workers in delivering quality home care. You will implement field-based quality control and ensure compliance with CQC standards while fostering strong relationships with clients and staff.

The role includes assessments, care planning, and supporting the registered manager with inspections. A full driving licence and a willingness to cover on-call shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
• Knowledge of CQC standards and CQC Compliance.
• Experience as Field Care Supervisor or 2 years in Health & Social Care (preferred).
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Spot checking carers in the community, identifying good practice, reporting training concerns to the registered manager.
• Deliver high standards of care.
• Participate in the paid on-call rota.
• Complete care assessments and write up Care Plans.
• Build relationships with care staff and service users.
• Assist the registered manager in inspections by the local authority and CQC.
• Assist the care coordinator with duties as required.

We are currently recruiting for a Care Supervisor to maintain and develop our home care services in the Battersea area.

Responsible for implementing field based quality control systems and providing support to all Care & Support Workers within a defined area.

Core Duties & Responsibilities as Field Care Supervisor:

• Spot checking carers in the community, identifying good practice, identifying and reporting training concerns back to the registered manager
• Ability to deliver high standards of care
• Participate in the paid on-call rota
• Completing care assessments and writing up Care Plans
• Building relationships with care staff and service users
• Assisting the registered manager in preparing for inspections by the local authority and CQC
• Assisting the care coordinator with any duties that may be required

Examples of the client’s needs you will be supporting with as a Field Care Supervisor:

• Assisting clients with personal care (Washing, toileting, dressing etc.)
• Performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Observing, monitoring and record keeping.
