Job summary

Care Outlook Ltd in West Wickham, Greater London, is looking for a Field Care Supervisor to supervise field staff and enhance home care services. You will spot-check carers, assess needs, and write care plans to maintain high-quality care for service users.

The role requires a full driving licence and flexibility to cover on-call shifts. You will operate within the CQC framework and support the registered manager for inspections.

Qualifications

• Experience as Field Care Supervisor or 2+ years in Health & Social Care (preferred).
• Full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
• Knowledge of CQC standards and compliance (essential).
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred).
• Flexibility to cover on-call to meet business needs (essential).

Responsibilities

• Spot check carers in the community and report training needs.
• Deliver high standards of care.
• Participate in the paid on-call rota.
• Complete care assessments and write up Care Plans.
• Build relationships with care staff and service users.
• Assist the registered manager with inspections by local authority and CQC.
• Assist the care coordinator with duties as required.

We are currently recruiting for a Field Care Supervisor to maintain and develop our home care services in West Wickham.

Responsible for implementing field based quality control systems and providing support to all Care & Support Workers within a defined area.

Core Duties & Responsibilities as Field Care Supervisor:

• Spot checking carers in the community, identifying good practice, identifying and reporting training concerns back to the registered manager
• Ability to deliver high standards of care
• Participate in the paid on-call rota
• Completing care assessments and writing up Care Plans
• Building relationships with care staff and service users
• Assisting the registered manager in preparing for inspections by the local authority and CQC
• Assisting the care coordinator with any duties that may be required
