Job summary

Cathay Care Home, part of CARE CONCERN GROUP LIMITED, in Forres, Moray, seeks a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You will oversee medication, monitor wellbeing, and ensure smooth shift operations.

You will maintain accurate care records, communicate with families and healthcare professionals, and help ensure continuity of care across shifts. This role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), with Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Medication administration training with competency is essential
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach

Responsibilities

Job description

Our purpose built care home is situated on the woodland edge of Forres, in the beautiful countryside of Moray. We proudly offer Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care for 41-residents.

Senior Care Assistant Contract

• £14.50 per hour
• Welcome Bonus of £500
• Contracted to up to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.
