Job summary

Cathay Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Care Assistant to deliver high quality, person-centred care. You will support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, ensuring dignity and comfort in a respectful environment.

We welcome both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and ongoing development provided to support your journey within our friendly team and supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Job description

Our purpose built care home is situated on the woodland edge of Forres, in the beautiful countryside of Moray. We proudly offer Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care for 41-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• £500 Welcome Bonus (T & C's apply)
• Contracted to various hours per week - flexible shifts available
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
