Job summary

Balfour Beatty is seeking a Senior CAD Technician for the Net Zero Teesside project at our Redcar site. You will produce and update 2D drawings and 3D models across temporary works, site logistics and construction details.

The role supports engineers and site teams, ensuring drawing control, revision management and accurate handover records with a focus on detail and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Proven CAD experience in construction/civil engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience producing 2D drawings, layouts, details and construction records.

Responsibilities

• Produce and update 2D CAD drawings and 3D models for temporary works and site logistics.
• Translate site markups and engineer instructions into controlled drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision control and handover records.
• Support coordination with engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
