Job summary

Balfour Beatty is seeking a dynamic Mechanical Project Engineer to contribute to the Net Zero Teesside project based at our site in Redcar and Cleveland. You will assist the Construction Manager and Engineering Manager with planning and daily execution, maintaining schedules and budgets, and coordinating submittals and material deliveries.

The role requires a B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering and extensive project engineering experience, with a focus on safety, quality, and timely

Qualifications

• Qualified in B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience as Project Engineer or in a related construction role.
• High levels of integrity and customer-focused delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages to programme, budget, safety and quality expectations.
• Maintain project schedule and manage document control (RFIs, FCDs, WPPs, MCRs, ITPs, record drawings).
• Coordinate timely delivery of materials and interfaces; manage procurement activity for packages.
• Produce technical input for SoW in line with QS, for ITT.
• Identify risks to the Project Management team and raise EWNs as needed.
