Job summary

Urenco Ltd invites a Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join the Capenhurst site for FEED and design work across global projects. The role focuses on Conceptual and Basic Design, with oversight of third-party providers and adherence to CPT requirements.

You will help develop design standards, uphold safety and regulatory requirements, and support plant design, asset management, and CapEx planning within a nuclear enrichment context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Expert with in-depth knowledge of C&I and automation.
• Proven track record delivering complex FEED and conceptual/basic designs.
• Minimum of 3 years in a lead engineer role.
• Experience modelling & simulating integrated process systems.
• Ability to analyse measurement data and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Promote a proactive safety culture and drive learning.
• Lead advanced plant design with latest technology and safety features.
• Lead, prepare and advise on C&I design across projects.
• Deliver high-quality Conceptual and Basic Design deliverables.
• Provide oversight of system integrator design and CPT requirements.
• Define CPT design standards aligned with safety expectations.
