Job summary

Urenco UK Ltd is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead a team of engineers on major capital programmes at Capenhurst/Birchwood. You will guide FEED development, ensure compliance with standards, and act as the intelligent customer for suppliers and contractors.

You will mentor engineers, support training to maintain SQEP capability, and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Electrical Engineers and Senior Electrical Engineers.
• Develop and deliver FEED packages (Conceptual and Basic Design).
• Ensure designs meet Urenco standards, customer requirements and best practice.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout design development.
• Support project delivery from detailed design to supplier outputs and approvals.
