Job summary

Driver Hire is the UK’s leading specialist logistics recruitment group seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to cover East Midlands & East of England. You will drive growth across 17 franchised offices, build a strong pipeline, and maximise revenue through new business development and strategic account expansion.

You will lead sales strategies, mentor franchisees, and collaborate with senior management, with opportunities to travel within the region and beyond as the network grows.

Qualifications

• Management-level recruitment agency experience is essential.
• B2B sales experience preferred in multi-site/regional roles.
• Strong relationship-building skills to quickly establish rapport with franchisees.
• Good commercial awareness including P&Ls understanding.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to win new business and grow revenue across your region.
• Support and guide franchisees through a structured training programme.
• Lead Driver Hire’s Sales Academy to mentor recruitment consultants into high-performing sales professionals.
• Provide ongoing business support to ensure offices excel in candidate attraction, retention, compliance and resource management.
• Travel throughout the region to cover East Midlands & East of England and interact with senior management.
• Leverage Driver Hire Training as a lead generation source to maintain a steady flow of qualified introductions.
