Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Hiring Marketing, eCommerce, Digital and Creative talent across the UK

Central Employment is partnering with a leading North East Social Media and Creative agency to appoint a Senior Business Development (Social Media & Creative). This role involves working alongside the senior management team to manage and drive all new business activities for the organization.

Purpose of the role:

  • Create and develop new business opportunities aligned with the company's targeting strategy across Social Media, Paid Social Media, and Creative services.
  • Take ownership of creating a sales pipeline.
  • Manage opportunities from prospect research to pitch.
  • Identify additional digital media and creative services that add value.
  • Mentor and grow a team of Business Development Managers.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy, and follow-up on outbound prospecting campaigns for Organic & Paid Social Media services and Creative solutions.
  • Review media for opportunities.
  • Guide prospects professionally through the sales process.
  • Mentor and develop other team members to improve sales performance.
  • Manage project teams responding to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring high standards in writing and design.
  • Build relationships with online marketing managers, directors, and CMOs.
  • Handover clients to delivery teams during onboarding.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop additional revenue opportunities within key eCommerce client accounts.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in digital media, marketing, or advertising solutions.
  • Approximately 3+ years in a new business-focused role.
  • Understanding of social media, creative, and production processes and how they achieve client goals.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • In-depth knowledge of the broader digital space.
  • Personable, presentable, and articulate.
  • Motivated, collaborative team player, and an outstanding communicator.
  • Ability to mentor junior sales staff.
  • Proven track record of generating profitable business and revenue.
