The Senior Business Development Manager role exists in order to bring an experienced sales professional to take a strategic view on how to maximise opportunities, and sales across their assigned Connected Building, and Elevate’s HyperCities.

The Senior Business Development Manager role exists in order to bring an experienced sales professional to take a strategic view on how to maximise opportunities, and sales across their assigned Connected Building, and Elevate’s HyperCities.

Your role will be to target all businesses within your Connected buildings, with the aim to provide them with connectivity, Security, manager services and voice. You will also be required to utilise your experience to target Medium sized businesses within the HyperCities, to generate multi product, multi site opportunities within these regions.

This Roles Comes With Additional OTE Commission

Key Responsibilities

You will have an annual NRR and IMR target, which will be broken down into quarter and monthly targets. You will be required to generate opportunities both On-Net and within your Preconnected buildings, which will ensure that you achieve these targets.

You will be expected to provide monthly forecasts of what you will deliver within this month. This will require you to create and manage a pipeline of opportunities which will equate to 2.5:1 vs target per month.

In regards to your Preconnects you will be expected to have relationships with all relevant parties within these buildings (building manager, Letting Agents, Asset Managers) which will provide you with an understanding of all tenants, and free space within the building. To ensure all new and existing tenants are aware of the Elevate solution.

Requirements

In addition to the BDM essential requirements you will be expected to;

  • Develop and execute strategies with landlords in order to expand the ROI within your preconnect buildings, providing full understandings of the scope for growth within the portfolio and forecasting accordingly
  • Outbound selling on Elevate’s network, self generating medium to large size businesses providing multi site network solutions.
  • Generation of larger value orders, alongside BAU volume deals, which will lead to achieving sales targets.
  • Develop and action strategic sales plans across buildings and Hyper Cities
  • Confidence in generation and management of complex, multi site multi product deals, putting together bespoke deals to capture the majority of the customers portfolio.
  • Proactively seeking out network and industry events to uncover larger pipeline
  • 3+ year industry experience, with a proven track record of new business generation
  • Proven track record of working with an infrastructure provider

Whilst the role is predominantly Monday to Friday, a flexible approach to working days and hours as required by the needs of the business is essential for the purposes of activities such meeting clients, visiting Preconnects, and On-Net cities, and attending networking events, you will be expected to work away from home and stay over when needed.
