Recruitment Consultant for the Maritime Industry

Senior Business Development Manager – Permanent – London – Excellent £

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving new business development activities, primarily within the decarbonisation sector. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of LNG/LPG and will be adept at market research, opportunity identification, project execution, and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop strategies for decarbonisation markets.
  • Identify and present potential investment opportunities within a coherent strategic context.
  • Develop and coordinate commercial proposals.
  • Manage and execute projects, defining key milestones, goals, budgets, and resources.
  • Actively lead and support project execution.
  • Administer financial and project budgets.
  • Prepare documentation to support lenders and/or partners' requirements.
  • Undertake contract negotiations.
  • Prepare internal approvals for various project budgets.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Develop relationships with potential clients and related organisations.
  • Travel to different locations to support project execution and business opportunities.

Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in contract negotiation, knowledge of infrastructure investment or complex project execution, preferably in business sectors related to shipping and/or decarbonisation.
  • Experience dealing with infrastructure users, EPC contractors, lenders, or investors on commercial, finance, tax, and technical issues.
  • Experience interacting with legal advisors and tax and financial advisors.
