Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Cardiff is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor/Managing Building Surveyor to lead project work across retail, health, energy, commercial property, education and public sectors. You will mentor junior staff, manage client relationships and oversee multidisciplinary teams within a forward-thinking organisation.

Qualifications

• MRICS Chartered status is essential or highly desirable.
• Significant building surveying experience.
• Experience managing clients with profitability and business development.
• Experience mentoring and coaching team members.
• Line management experience desirable.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety and statutory compliance.
• Excellent time management and commitment to delivering quality work.

Responsibilities

• Undertake building surveying services including feasibility studies, specifications, estimates, approvals, and contract administration for refurbishment projects.
• Work across multiple projects in different sectors delivering refurbishment and modernisation.
• Mentor and train Building Surveyors and support junior APC candidates.
• Support senior managers and line-manage junior staff.
• Develop new business opportunities including bids and proposals.
