Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is expanding its Building Surveying team in Exeter, seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to lead commissions, deliver a wide range of professional services, and mentor junior staff. You will develop client relationships, manage projects end-to-end and contribute to growth across the Southwest.

Qualified MRICS/FRICS with a Building Surveying degree and strong commercial awareness are essential. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel are required; hybrid working and broad

Qualifications

• MRICS or FRICS qualification
• Building Surveying degree or equivalent
• Experience delivering Building Surveying consultancy services
• Ability to manage projects from inception through completion
• Experience with both project work and survey programmes

Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad range of Building Surveying services across public and private sector clients
• Manage projects through full lifecycle from inception to completion
• Undertake and manage condition surveys and asset assessment programmes
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work, reports and technical documentation
• Act as Contract Administrator and Employer's Agent on refurbishment and construction projects
• Mentor and develop Assistant and Building Surveyors
• Support business development and contribute to winning new work
• Collaborate across AtkinsRéalis to provide integrated client solutions
