Senior Building Services Engineer – Consultancy

Thomas Search are working on behalf of an independent consultancy to appoint an experienced Building Services Engineer into their growing and successful engineering team. This is a career–defining opportunity to join a collaborative, people–focused firm with an enviable client list and a clear vision for the future.

The Role

As part of the established engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding the Technical Due Diligence service line, while also supporting other verticals. You'll work on landmark properties and prestigious portfolios across the UK and Europe.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver Technical Due Diligence, dilapidations and PPM projects across high–profile commercial assets
  • Build relationships with blue–chip investors, developers and asset managers
  • Lead site inspections, technical reporting and client presentations
  • Help drive sustainability into the TDD process – energy, carbon and decarbonisation insights
  • Shape and grow a profitable service line alongside senior leadership
What We're Looking For
  • Degree–qualified in Building Services / Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years' post–qualification experience within building services/MEP
  • Strong experience in Technical Due Diligence and dilapidations
  • Client–facing confidence with excellent communication skills
  • Ambition to achieve Chartered Engineer status (support provided)
