Jewson in Northampton is seeking a Senior Sales Advisor to deliver outstanding service and drive sales growth within our building materials range. You will develop strong relationships with customers both face-to-face and over the phone, provide proactive product advice, understand local market needs, and work to exceed targets while using our in-house systems to manage orders and deliveries.

• In-depth knowledge of building materials and merchant industry.
• Ability to interpret data, margins, pricing and forecast sales.
• Team player with a proven track record of exceeding targets.

Responsibilities

• Get to know product lines to maximise customer interactions.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers face-to-face and by phone.
• Understand local market to support sales growth.
• Use in-house systems to process orders, organise delivery times and update customers.
• Upsell and cross-sell to meet sales and profit targets.
• Get to know suppliers and seek opportunities to improve knowledge.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow sales with the team.
