About the team

You will be joining an enthusiastic, aspirational and customer‑focused Building Control team committed to ensuring that buildings across Bracknell Forest are safe for residents and visitors alike.

Based in a thriving Berkshire community, just a short journey from London, the team supports a wide range of exciting developments, from large housing projects to major healthcare redevelopments and our ongoing multi‑million‑pound town centre regeneration.

Key responsibilities
  • Working with the Principal Building Control Surveyor(s) to deliver the Building Control function across the borough.
  • Undertaking Plan Checking and Site Inspections as necessary.
  • Maintaining and developing professional competence in accordance with the Registered Building Inspector Code of Conduct.
  • Responding to our clients in an appropriate and timely fashion.
  • Promote a positive image of the profession and provide a high standard of service.
