Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join the Bridges & Structures team in the UK. You will shape a diverse portfolio of bridges and structures across highways, rail, aviation, energy and power, collaborating with specialists and delivering designs with real-world impact.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead elements of project delivery and drive technical excellence while balancing safe, sustainable outcomes for clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Must be Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
• Experience delivering structural projects for infrastructure and transport sectors.
• Strong analytical, design and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience leading elements of project delivery and coordinating stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Shape a diverse portfolio of bridges and structures across highways, rail, aviation, energy and power.
• Collaborate with UK and international specialists to deliver designs with practical delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and support overall project delivery.
• Lead technical reviews to ensure safety, quality and sustainability of solutions.
