Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a skilled structural engineer to join its Bridges and Structures capability within the Transportation business. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating across the UK, Europe and Jacobs’ global network to deliver robust, sustainable structural solutions.

You will influence the delivery of engineering services, manage design stages from feasibility to detailed design, and contribute to client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in bridge or structural engineering within infrastructure.
• Strong technical design, project leadership or discipline management capability relevant to bridges and structures.
• Experience contributing to the delivery of structural engineering projects through one or more key stages.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support multidisciplinary teams across UK, Europe and Jacobs’ global delivery network.
• Coordinate with clients, engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
• Apply digital, automated and standardised approaches to improve quality and efficiency.
• Help build capable engineering teams and mentor junior staff.
