Job summary

Jacobs is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to lead analysis and design for UK and international transport/infrastructure programmes. You will guide multidisciplinary teams and mentor engineers while ensuring high-quality technical delivery.

You will work on schemes across highways, rail, aviation, energy and power, influencing safety, sustainability and whole-life value with a strong focus on digital tools and lean processes.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in civil or structural engineering.
• Strong structural analysis, design and practical problem‑solving capability.
• Experience leading technical delivery and taking responsibility for engineering quality.
• The ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to clients, project teams and other disciplines.
• Experience supporting, mentoring or guiding engineers.
• The ability to manage competing technical and project priorities without compromising quality or safety.
• A relevant civil or structural engineering degree
