Jacobs in the UK is expanding its Bridges & Structures team, seeking a Senior Engineer to deliver high-impact infrastructure projects across highways, rail, aviation and energy. You’ll assess existing assets, design innovative structures and lead technical outputs with a focus on safety, sustainability and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status, or plan to achieve chartership soon.
• Experience delivering structural engineering projects within infrastructure, transportation, energy, utilities or related sectors.
• Strong structural analysis, design and engineering problem-solving capability.
• Experience leading elements of project delivery, coordinating stakeholders and managing technical outputs.
• Experience in asset management, structures renewals and post-tensioned structures (PTSI).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects spanning highways, rail, aviation, energy and power.
• Assess existing assets and design innovative new structures.
• Collaborate with specialists across the UK and internationally to ensure project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
