Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a senior structural engineer to lead complex structural work across major transport and infrastructure programmes in the UK and internationally. You will shape designs, guide multidisciplinary teams and mentor engineers, contributing to safety, sustainability and whole-life value.

You will deliver structural analysis and design on assets from feasibility to renewal, applying digital tools and leaner processes while collaborating with clients and colleagues globally.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in civil or structural engineering and the ability to lead complex structural work.
• Strong structural analysis, design and practical problem-solving capability.
• Experience leading technical delivery and ensuring engineering quality.
• Clear communication of complex technical information to clients and project teams.
• Experience mentoring or guiding engineers.
• Ability to manage competing technical and project priorities without compromising safety or quality.

Responsibilities
