Job summary

Jacobs in the UK is growing its Bridges & Structures team. As a Senior Engineer, you will work on diverse projects across highways, rail, aviation and energy, assessing existing assets and designing innovative new structures.

You will lead technical delivery, mentor engineers, collaborate with colleagues across the UK and internationally, and contribute to sustainable infrastructure with flexible, hybrid working arrangements that support career development.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status, or a clear pathway towards achieving chartership in the near future.
• Experience delivering structural engineering projects within infrastructure, transportation, energy, utilities or related sectors.
• Strong structural analysis, design and engineering problem-solving capability.
• Experience leading elements of project delivery, coordinating stakeholders and managing technical outputs.

Responsibilities

• Assess and extend the life of existing assets across highways, rail and major transport programmes.
• Design innovative new structures for major infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with specialists across the UK and internationally to deliver multi-disciplinary solutions.
• Lead technical delivery and mentor junior engineers to ensure quality outcomes.
