Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join a UK team working on high-profile transport and infrastructure projects. You will contribute to feasibility studies, concept development, and detailed design for bridges and structures, collaborating with engineers across disciplines to deliver practical and sustainable solutions.

You will gain exposure to projects for High Speed 2, National Highways, Network Rail and local authorities, with a clear path towards Chartered status and

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering bridge or structural engineering projects within a consultancy, contractor, local authority or infrastructure environment.
• Strong structural analysis, engineering design and practical problem-solving capability.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Motivation to continue developing professionally and progress towards Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Work on a diverse portfolio of bridge and structures projects from feasibility to detailed design and delivery.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical and sustainable engineering solutions.
• Contribute to projects for clients including High Speed 2, National Highways, Network Rail and local authorities.
