Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Senior Booking Clerk to join the Central Booking Service in Birmingham. You will handle telephone bookings, data input and patient scheduling for children and families, working within the CBS to support timely appointments.

The role requires accuracy, excellent customer service, and the ability to work as part of a multi-skilled CBS team, rotating across areas as needed. NHS terms apply and flexible working is available.

Qualifications

• GCSE passes including English at standard level.
• RIO experience is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinics and waiting lists within Community Paediatrics and related services.
• Input and maintain patient records in RiO and other booking systems.
• Book and rebook appointments by phone and through RiO/Choose & Book.
• Follow CBS SOPs and ensure timely communication with parents/carers.
