Job summary

Assystem is seeking a BIM Coordinator to lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination for major infrastructure and defence projects in the UK. You will join the Information Management and BIM team to ensure model quality, set up BEPs, and drive standards across the delivery lifecycle.

You will coordinate design coordination activities, perform clash detection, and mentor stakeholders on BIM processes, with opportunities to shape digital delivery capability within a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as BIM Coordinator or similar BIM delivery role.
• Knowledge of AIRs (Asset Information Requirements).
• Practical experience with Autodesk Navisworks Manage and Revit.
• Experience federating models from multiple disciplines and performing clash detection.
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and ISO 19650 suite.
• Experience with CDEs such as ProjectWise, Asite, OpenTree or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience on major infrastructure, nuclear, defence or transport projects.
• Ability to chair and facilitate coordination meetings and engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across project teams and supply chain partners.
• Receive, review and federate models from multiple design disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks and other BIM tools.
• Produce clash reports and track actions through to resolution.
• Facilitate model review workshops and coordination meetings.
• Monitor BIM deliverables against BEPs and project requirements.
• Conduct model quality assurance before publication and issue.
• Support interface management between contractors and design organisations.
• Maintain BIM coordination registers and action trackers for stakeholder discussions.
• Ensure coordinated models and information are managed within the CDE.
• Support continuous improvement of BIM standards and workflows.
