Job summary

Assystem is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support major infrastructure and defence projects in Glasgow, UK. The role sits within the Information Management and BIM team to coordinate models, manage clashes, and ensure BEP-compliant deliverables on on-site projects.

You will federate models from multiple disciplines, run clash detection, and produce reports, working closely with project stakeholders to maintain data quality in the CDE.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in BIM, Engineering, Construction, Architecture or related field.
• Experience delivering BIM in multidisciplinary projects and ensuring BEP adherence.
• Familiarity with BIM tools and standards for coordination, modelling, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across project teams and supply chain partners.
• Receive, review and federate models from multiple design disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks and other BIM tools.
• Produce clash reports and track coordination actions through to resolution.
• Facilitate and support model review workshops and coordination meetings.
• Monitor BIM deliverables against project requirements and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Undertake model quality assurance reviews prior to publication and formal issue.
• Support interface management between contractors and design organisations.
• Maintain BIM coordination registers, action trackers, and project KPI dashboards.
