Job summary

Assystem is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support major infrastructure and defence projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models, undertake clash detection, and ensure BEPs are met. You will also maintain CDE workflows and support continuous BIM improvement.

The role involves delivering model coordination, reporting, and stakeholder engagement across design teams and contractors in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as BIM Coordinator or similar BIM delivery role.
• AIRs (Asset Information Requirements) understanding.
• Practical experience using Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit models.
• Experience federating models from multiple disciplines.
• Experience undertaking clash detection and dashboard reporting.
• Understanding BIM processes and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Experience in multidisciplinary project environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to chair and facilitate coordination meetings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across project teams and supply chain partners.
• Receive, review and federate models from multiple design disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks and other BIM tools.
• Produce clash reports and track coordination actions through to resolution.
• Facilitate and support model review workshops and coordination meetings.
• Monitor BIM deliverables against project requirements and BEPs.
• Undertake model quality assurance reviews prior to publication and formal issue.
• Support interface management between contractors and design organisations.
• Maintain BIM coordination registers, action trackers, and project KPI dashboards.
• Work with Information Managers to ensure models are managed in the CDE.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to BIM standards and processes.
• Provide guidance to project stakeholders on BIM coordination.
