BIM Coordinator – Major Infrastructure & Defence Projects

Job summary

Assystem is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support major infrastructure and defence projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models, review and federate models, and perform clash detection to ensure deliverables meet BEPs and project standards.

This role offers an opportunity to improve BIM processes, standards, and digital delivery capability while working within a dynamic Information Management and BIM team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar BIM delivery role.
• Knowledge of Asset Information Requirements (AIRs).
• Proficiency with Autodesk Navisworks Manage and Revit.
• Experience federating models from multiple disciplines.
• Experience performing clash detection and dashboard reporting.
• Understanding BIM processes and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Experience in multidisciplinary project environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 suite.
• Experience with CDEs such as ProjectWise, Asite, OpenTree or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience on major infrastructure, nuclear, defence or transport projects.
• Experience producing BIM metrics and reports using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across project teams and supply chain partners.
• Receive, review and federate models from multiple design disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks and other BIM tools.
• Produce clash reports and track coordination actions through to resolution.
• Facilitate and support model review workshops and coordination meetings.
• Monitor BIM deliverables against project requirements and BEPs.
• Undertake model quality assurance reviews prior to publication and formal issue.
• Support interface management between contractors and design organisations.
• Maintain BIM coordination registers, action trackers, and project KPI dashboards.
• Work with Information Managers to ensure coordinated models in the CDE.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to BIM standards and processes.
• Provide guidance to project stakeholders on BIM coordination requirements.
