Job summary

Assystem GmbH in Newcastle upon Tyne seeks an experienced BIM Coordinator to support major infrastructure and defence projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models, run clash detection, and ensure deliverables meet BEP standards.

Joining the Information Management and BIM team, you will improve BIM processes and digital delivery capability while liaising with project stakeholders and supply chain partners.

Qualifications

• Experience as BIM Coordinator or similar BIM delivery role.
• Experience with Autodesk Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination.
• Experience federating models from multiple disciplines into a BEP-aligned workflow.
• Experience producing BIM metrics and reports.
• Good understanding of BIM processes and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across project teams and supply chain partners.
• Receive, review and federate models from multiple design disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks and other BIM tools.
• Produce clash reports and track actions through to resolution.
• Facilitate model review workshops and coordination meetings.
• Monitor BIM deliverables against BEP requirements and project KPIs.
• Maintain BIM coordination registers and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Support interface management between contractors and design organisations.
