Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a commercially focused Bid Director to lead major bid and framework opportunities within the Environment Business. You will drive strategy, assemble cross-functional bid teams and guide submissions across UK water and infrastructure sectors.

Reporting to the Strategic Business Director, the role requires senior bid leadership experience, governance expertise and strong client engagement capabilities to secure profitable contracts.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in work-winning, bid leadership or business development in construction and infrastructure.
• Proven success leading major framework bids and strategic pursuits.
• Experience at senior bid leadership level with governance exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead major bid and framework submissions for Environment Business.
• Develop win strategies aligned to client drivers and objectives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary bid teams and govern submission processes.
• Present bid strategies to senior leadership and key clients.
