Galliford Try Group is seeking an experienced Senior Bid Manager to lead high-quality bid submissions within the Environment Business. You will own complex opportunities, manage multi-disciplinary teams and ensure governance-compliant submissions.

You will drive bid strategy, client engagement and continuous improvement across processes, aiming for profitable growth and secure framework appointments.

Qualifications

• Significant bid-management experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, engineering or energy sectors.
• Proven track record securing major contracts and framework agreements.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary bid teams and complex tender programmes.
• Strong commercial awareness and risk management principles.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead major tender submissions and framework opportunities across the Environment Business.
• Develop bid programmes, ensuring deadlines and governance milestones are met.
• Coordinate and produce compelling, client-focused bid submissions.
• Draft, review and enhance technical and quality responses to maximise scoring.
• Chair bid team meetings and manage stakeholder contributions throughout the bid lifecycle.
• Manage submission processes through client portals such as Bravo and Ariba.
• Present bid strategies and recommendations to senior leadership.
