Places for People is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead end-to-end tender submissions for PfP Students, coordinating with the Head of Business Development and stakeholders across the organisation. The role involves managing multiple bids, ensuring compliance with client requirements and branding, and shaping future bidding strategies.

The successful candidate will oversee bid reviews, maintain a robust tender pipeline, and may mentor junior bid writers.

Qualifications

• Proven bid manager experience in a competitive tendering environment.
• Knowledge of public sector procurement processes and portals.
• Experience managing multiple complex bids simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills across a large organisation.
• Experience in Property/Student Accommodation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tender and bid process for PfP Students.
• Identify opportunities via procurement portals and sector intelligence.
• Ensure submissions meet client requirements and branding guidelines.
• Lead bid reviews, debriefs, and monitor bid performance.
• Provide leadership to temporary bid writers when needed.
• Attend client sites as required for a national role.
