Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead end-to-end tender and bid processes for PfP Students, collaborating with the Head of Business Development to deliver high-quality submissions that differentiate our offering.

You will manage multiple bids, leverage portals and market insight, and drive bid reviews, pipeline maintenance and strategy development across a national role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating at bid manager level in competitive tendering environments.
• Strong knowledge of public sector procurement portals and processes.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and complex opportunities simultaneously.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders across large organisations.
• Experience in property/student accommodation is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tender and bid processes for PfP Students.
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously and identify new opportunities.
• Lead bid reviews, debriefs and monitor bid performance.
• Maintain an up-to-date tender pipeline and influence bidding strategy.
• Provide leadership to temporary bid writers during peak periods.
