Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead end-to-end tender and bid processes for PfP Students, collaborating with the Head of Business Development to drive growth. You will manage multiple bids, identify opportunities through procurement portals, and ensure submissions meet client requirements and branding guidelines.

You’ll also lead bid reviews, maintain the tender pipeline and guide future strategies with market insight, potentially mentoring temporary bid writers during peak

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating at Bid Manager level within a competitive tendering environment.
• Strong knowledge of public sector procurement processes and local government portals.
• Experience managing multiple complex bids and influencing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tender and bid processes for PfP Students.
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously and identify new opportunities.
• Lead bid reviews, debriefs and monitor bid performance.
• Maintain an up-to-date tender pipeline and shape future bidding strategies.
• Provide leadership to temporary bid writers when needed.
