Job summary

Places for People’s PfP Students division is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead end-to-end tender and bid processes, working with the Head of Business Development to craft high-quality submissions that differentiate our offering and support growth across the business.

You will manage multiple bids, use procurement portals and market insight to identify opportunities, lead bid reviews, maintain a tender pipeline and mentor temporary bid writers when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating at Bid Manager level within a competitive tendering environment.
• Track record of successfully managing bid submissions.
• Strong knowledge of public sector procurement processes and portals.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across a large organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tender and bid processes for PfP Students.
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously and identify new opportunities through portals and market insight.
• Lead bid reviews and debriefs and maintain a bid/tender pipeline.
• Provide leadership to temporary bid writers during peak activity.
