Job summary

Whitestone Resourcing Limited is partnering with a facilities services business to appoint a Business Development Manager, covering London and the South of England. The role is field-based with hybrid working and a strong emphasis on building relationships with shopping centres, retail parks and commercial property clients.

You will identify new business opportunities, manage a developing pipeline, lead client presentations and tender submissions, and work with an established BD team to drive

Qualifications

• Proven success in developing and securing new business contracts.
• Experience within commercial cleaning, security, facilities management or outsourced services.
• Strong relationship-building skills with senior client stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and ability to translate client challenges into tailored solutions.
• Ability to manage a substantial geographical territory independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across shopping centres, retail parks and commercial property portfolios.
• Build relationships with shopping centre managers, managing agents, property consultants and procurement teams.
• Identify prospective clients through market research, site visits and proactive networking.
• Develop a qualified pipeline of opportunities and manage long sales cycles.
• Lead client presentations, tender submissions and commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate with BD team and external appointment-setting resource.
• Contribute to wider commercial strategy and growth of the southern region.
